The film is the only post-Khmer Rouge work produced by prolific pre-Khmer Rouge director Yvon Hem, who also directed the legendary film Sovannahong (1966). As one of the earliest films released in Cambodia after the Khmer Rouge Regime, the film spearheaded Pisith Pilika's career as an actress.

Jet Jong Jam/Memory of the Heart or I Will Remember, is a critically acclaimed Cambodian classic. Produced in 1988, It was one of the first locally broadcasted Cambodian films based on the Khmer Rouge.

DevÄ›t kruhů pekla (Nine Circles of Hell) or Tanaruok Prambuon Jonn, is a 1989 Czechoslovak drama film directed by Milan Muchna. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival.[1]

The film describes the Khmer Rouge period in Cambodia. Tomáš is a Czech doctor working in Phnom Penh and Khema is famous Khmer actress.

NEANG POV MALIS LEA (1993)

A princess, Sok Sreymom, is kidnapped and taken hostage by a magical  creature/monster, Arun Rasmey, and the two wind up falling in love with each other. Meanwhile, her sisters try to summon her back from the "unknown." The film incorporates  two dance songs (one from the 1970s), Angels and giants, also an Arab, prophecies, love spells, as well as offensive beauty standards that are emphasized when the comedians and midgets are transformed into popular celebrities of the time-like Tep Rindaro and Ampor Tevi. Truly an extravagant creation.

PRAMAT PRAMONG (1994)

Soldiers from a nearby kingdom seek to collect the intestines and hearts of children, believing that 1000 hearts would empower their king. Allegedly, the story originates from the time of Genghis Khan, when Cambodian children were forbidden to leave their homes after dark to protect themselves from a Cham king. Pramat Pramong was produced three times in film. The 1st version from 1974, starring Chea Yuthon and Vichara Dany, has been destroyed by the Khmer Rouge. This 1994 version is the 2nd. The 3rd version was released on DVD in 2007.

KCHONG SUL TIDA PEUS (1994)

Uma Reangsey, Pisith Pilika, is the most beautiful woman on earth. Regal men across the world attempt to win her heart but all would succumb to their immediate deaths. Kai Prasith, a king from Sri Lanka, also in search of the enchanting Uma, encounters an angel named Tida Peuh along his mission. The angel Tida Peuh, Ampor Tevi, jealously attempts to deter the Sri Lankan king away from his fascination of Uma with her playful demeanor.  This musical is the 70th volume of Angkorwat Production's VHS series. This is not a traditional Cambodian folktale or mythology but simply a screenplay in respect to Cambodia's enthusiasm for Boran/Legendary films.
